How do you distinguish the difference between seamless steel pipe and seamlessly steel tube on the market? It is difficult to distinguish on the surface. Finally, seamlessly steel tube is hot rolling process, while the seamless steel pipe is cold drawn process.

Seamlessly steel tube process is different. Seamlessly of steel tube is mainly finished through tension reducing. The tension reducing process is the hollow of the parent metal without mandrel continuous rolling process. Make sure the quality of mother tube welding, welding tube tension reducing process is that the welded pipe is heated to 950 ℃ integrally, then through tension reducing machine, the mother tube is rolled into a variety of outside diameter and wall thickness of finished tubes. Adopting this process, the hot rolled steel pipe has substantial distinction from the ordinary high frequency welded pipe. In addition, through many times rolling of tension reducing machine and automatic control, the size precision of steel tube is superior to the same types of seamless pipes.

In developed countries, most of fluid pipe and boiler tube have adopted welded pipe seamlessly process. While with the development of society, hot rolling welded pipe is replacing the seamless steel pipe gradually in China.
