Seamless steel pipe is a hollow section without seams around the strip steel. Because of unique structure, seamless steel tube is broadly used as transmission fluid pipe like oil, natural gas, coal gas, water and pipelines of some other solid materials. Compared to the solid round steel, seamless steel pipe is a kind of economic cross section steel with light weight. It is also widely applied to manufacture structural and mechanical spare parts such as petroleum drill pipe, auto transmission shaft and bicycle frame etc.

According to different cross sectional area shape, it can be divided into circular tube and special pipe. Due to equal perimeter conditions, the circle area is the largest and can convey more fluid.
